How to Root the LG Spirit 4G

I. Before You Begin:
1. Be aware that rooting your device will void its warranty and it can only be reinstated if you unroot your device. There must be an unrooting procedure available to unroot your device.
2. You must have proper drivers installed on your PC. You can get them from here.
3. This works on Windows based PCs only.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. Root Tool
III. Rooting the LG Spirit 4G:
1. Place the Root Tool archive onto your Desktop.
2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop.
3. Enable the USB debugging on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Developer options>>USB debugging.
4. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
5. Run the root tool by double-clicking on Run.bat file you extracted earlier to your Desktop.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions.
7. And you’re rooted now!
Excellent! Your Spirit 4G is rooted now, all thanks to the one-click root tool.

It appears this tool didnt work for me, in clue why?
you have to put your phone in charge only mode for usb connection type
Can’t get it to work in Charge Only mode. Same errors as Jonathan. Any clue why?
For some reason the tool is not working for me and I can’t pinpoint the reason.
