How to Turn off Twitter Inline Images in Mobile App

Twitter just added the ability to see images uploaded to Twitter as an inline image instead of just a link to the image like they used to have. I personally love this feature, but can understand if you might not. While it’s not possible to remove this feature from the official Twitter website (who uses that anymore anyway?), you can remove it from the mobile version of the app for iOS and Android (perhaps you want to save data usage by not downloading the images?). Regardless of your reasoning for turning it off, here’s how to turn off inline images in the mobile Twitter app.

1. Open the app on your device.

2. Tap on the me icon (looks like a person’s head).

3. Tap on gear icon then tap Settings.

4. Scroll to Image Previews and turn it OFF.
