How to Unroot the Advent Vega Tablet
The word ‘Unrooting’ comes in mind only when you have enjoyed all the root-only apps, custom ROMs and all kind of things which can be done on a rooted device and you want to start from a fresh state. Thanks to the manufacturers who often release the Stock Images so the devices can be taken back to their factory state, no root, no tweak. Here we have a guide on how you can unroot your Advent Vega tablet easily.
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here.
2. Please charge your device fully before doing this procedure.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. USB Flash Driver (Download link’s given at the bottom on that webpage)
2. Stock Image (Download link’s given at the bottom on that webpage)
III. Unrooting the Advent Vega Tablet:
1. Download and place all the files on the Desktop of your PC.
2. Extract files from the USB Flash Driver ZIP to the Desktop.
3. Update your device’s driver with the new driver you just downloaded.
4. Connect your tablet to the Power Socket. Do it even if your tablet is fully charged.
5. While your tablet is connected to the Power Socket, connect it to your PC using the USB cable.
6. Turn OFF your tablet using the Power button. Hold it for about six seconds and it should turn OFF.
7. While your tablet is turned OFF, press and hold the Back button for about two seconds.
8. Keeping the Back button pressed, press the Power button for about two seconds.
9. Release the Power button but keep the Back button pressed for two seconds.
10. Release the Back button and your tablet should reboot into the Recovery Mode.
11. Double-click the Stock Image file you downloaded earlier and follow the on-screen instructions.
12. After the Stock Image is successfully installed on your tablet, reboot it.
Congrats ! You have successfully unrooted your tablet and it will be running on the official firmware when it boots up.
