How to Unroot the CSL Switch Dual II on Gingerbread
To get the most out of your device, you should definitely root it and enjoy thousands of root-only apps available out there. However, sometimes you may need to unroot your device and reasons may vary depending on the situation. Well, if CSL Switch Dual II is the device you want to unroot, then we’re certainly going to help you with that. This guide shows exactly how you can unroot the said device within a few simple steps and get its lost warranty back. So, here you go:
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device using the DooMLoRD’s toolkit given here. If you’ve rooted your device using any other method, we don’t guarantee that the following procedure will work for you.
2. The following procedure works on Windows based PCs only.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. Unroot Package (Download link’s available in the post #145)
III. Unrooting the CSL Switch Dual II on Gingerbread:
1. Download and place the Unroot Package archive onto your Desktop.
2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop.
3. Enable the USB debugging option on your device from Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB debugging.
4. Turn ON the Unknown sources option as well. It can be found in Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Unknown sources.
5. Now connect your device to your PC via USB cable.
6. Double-click on the RUNME-UNROOT.bat file you have on your Desktop.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions.
8. And you’re unrooted now!
Awesome! You’ve successfully unrooted your device and now it’s running the perfect stock firmware with no root-modifications at all.
