How to Unroot the Gionee Elife E7 Mini

I. Before You Begin
1. You should’ve rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you didn’t use it to root your device, this procedure may or may not work for you.
2. This doesn’t flash stock firmware. It only removes root-access from your device.
II. Downloading Required Files
1. Download Framaroot APK and save it to your desktop.

III. Unrooting the Gionee Elife E7 Mini
1. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
2. Copy the Framaroot APK from your desktop over to the root of your SD card.
3. Once it’s copied, disconnect your device from your PC.
4. Enable Unknown sources on your device by heading to Menu > Settings > Security > Unknown sources.
5. Open File Manager and tap on the Framaroot APK you just copied to your device and it’ll install.
6. Once installed, open the app from your App Drawer.
7. Select Unroot from the first dropdown menu.
8. Tap on Boromir and it should begin unrooting your device.
9. Once unrooted, reboot your device.
10. You’re done!
Brilliant! Your Elife E7 Mini is now unrooted. The root-only apps will no longer work on your device as the root-access has been removed from your device. You can re-root your device to get those apps working again, though.
