How to Unroot the HTC Aria

There has been a few methods to root the HTC Aria smartphone and if you are a flashaholic, you must have rooted your device as well as flashed a custom recovery on it. There will be times when you have to take your smartphone to the shop for repairing purpose or any other, at such times, you will need to first unroot your smartphone. And so for you guys, here we have a guide on how you can unroot your HTC Aria smartphone.

I. Before You Begin:

1. You should have rooted your smartphone using the procedure given here.

2. This will reinstate your lost warranty.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Stock ROM (Download link’s given in the first post)

III. Unrooting the HTC Aria:

1. Download and place the Stock ROM file on your Desktop.

2. Turn OFF your smartphone using the Power button.

3. Reboot your smartphone into the Fastboot mode. To do so, while your smartphone is turned OFF, press and hold Trackpad+Power buttons together.

4. Connect your smartphone to the PC using the USB cable.

5. Your smartphone should show the FASTBOOT USB.

6. Double-click the Stock ROM executable file you downloaded earlier.

7. Follow the instructions displayed on your screen.

8. You should have an unrooted smartphone.

Excellent ! You have successfully unrooted your HTC Aria smartphone with the use of the executable Stock ROM file.
