How to Unroot the HTC JetStream

HTC JetStream was one of the good tablets from HTC and we already have a guide for you to root this device. The device is also compatible with the ClockworkMod Recovery and with the help of it, you can load custom ROMs on your device. In the following guide, we are going to show you how you can unroot your HTC JetStream tablet. Here you go:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You should have rooted your device using the procedure given here.

2. The following procedure works on Windows based PCs only.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. RUU (Download link’s given in the first post)

III. Unrooting the HTC JetStream:

1. Download and place the RUU file onto your Desktop. Do NOT open it just yet.

2. Turn OFF your tablet using the Power button.

3. Reboot your tablet into the bootloader mode. Simply press and hold the Volume DOWN+Power buttons together and you should enter the bootloader mode.

4. From the bootloader menu, choose the Fastboot mode.

5. Plug in your tablet to the PC using the USB cable.

6. Launch the RUU file by double-clicking on it.

7. You will have a step-by-step wizard on your screen. Just follow all the instructions displayed on your screen.

8. Your device’s now unrooted !

Excellent ! Your tablet’s now unrooted and is back to the stock firmware.
