How to Unroot the Huawei Evolution

There could be various reasons you may want to unroot your device. Maybe you’re going to sell it or just want to reclaim its warranty? Either way, this guide will help you. Since we used the z4root to root our device, we’re gonna use the same app to unroot it. Here’s how:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, this procedure might not work for you.

2. Make sure your device has at least 50% of battery life left.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. z4Root APK (It’s attached in the first post)

III. Unrooting the Huawei Evolution:

1. Place the z4Root APK file on your Desktop.

2. Plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.

3. Copy the APK over to the root of your SD card.

4. Once it’s been copied, unplug your device from your PC.

5. On your device, head to Menu>>Settings>>Applications and make sure that the Unknown sources option is enabled.

6. Turn ON the USB debugging option as well by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB debugging.

7. Now open the File Manager app on your device and install the APK you just copied to your device.

8. Once it’s been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.

9. Hit Unroot button in the app and it’ll start unrooting your device.

10. After a couple of seconds, you will have a fully unrooted device.

11. And you’re done!

Great! Your device has been unrooted and now has its warranty back!
