How to Unroot the Huawei Honor 4C
If you’re finally done messing around with your Huawei Honor 4C after rooting it and changing the software to your heart’s content, and you’re ready to get everything back to stock so you can send it in for warranty or sell it or whatever the need may be, you’ll need to do what we call “unroot” it. Just like rooting the device this involves flashing some firmware onto it, but instead of a custom firmware, we’re going to literally flash the stock firmware that it came with back onto it to erase anything we did to it and get it back to a completely clean slate.
Unfortunately, this only works for the CHM-U01 variant of the device so make sure that’s the one you have before attempting this. The reason it only works for that model is because it happens to be the only stock ROM out there for the device that I’ve found. If you find other stock firmware please leave a link to it in the comments so others can use this to revert back to stock, too.
I. Before You Begin
1. You should’ve rooted your device using our how to root the Huawei Honor 4C procedure.
2. Please backup anything that’s important for you as this procedure should wipe off all the data stored on your device.
3. This should get your device back to the stock firmware.
4. This only works for the CHM-U01 variant of the device.

6. Turn off your device.
7. Hold down Volume UP, Volume DOWN, and Power buttons together on your device.
8. Your device should automatically start updating itself with the stock ROM that you copied to it previously.
