How to Unroot the Kyocera Hydro

Root access isn’t a surprising thing if you’ve been using it for some good time. And there may come a time when you decide to unroot your device just because you’re returning it to service center or selling it. No matter what your reason is behind unrooting, this guide will walk you through the steps on how you can unroot your Kyocera Hydro device. After following the procedure below, you should have an unrooted device with its valid warranty, so here you go:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device using the method given here. If you rooted your device using any other method, this guide may not work for you.

2. This works on Windows based PCs only.

3. You should have proper drivers installed on your PC. If you don’t, you can get them from here and here, for 32bit and 64bit, respectively.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Root Package (Download link’s available in the first post)

III. Unrooting the Kyocera Hydro:

1. Place the Root Package archive onto your Desktop.

2. Unzip files from the archive over to your Desktop, use any free tools like WinRAR to do so.

3. Enable the USB debugging option on your device from Menu>>Settings>>Developer options>>USB debugging.

4. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.

5. Launch the tool by double-clicking on RunMe.bat file you extracted earlier to your Desktop.

6. Select Unroot option in the tool and follow the on-screen instructions.

7. And you should be unrooted now!

Great! Your Kyocera Hydro has been successfully unrooted. You now don’t have root-access on your device, therefore the root-only apps are just junk and better you remove them from your device.
