How to Unroot the Micromax A70
So you have rooted your Micromax A70 and voided its warranty and now want to go back to the unrooted state? No problem, we’ll help you do just that. Unrooting your Micromax A70 will restore the warranty as well as you will be able to prevent any accidental modifications to system files, as they will no longer be accessible to you. Follow the following guide and get your device unrooted.
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, then the following procedure may or may not work for you.
2. Your device should have at least 50% of battery life left.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. z4Root APK (It’s attached in the first post)
III. Unrooting the Micromax A70:
1. Place the z4Root APK file on the Desktop of your PC.
2. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
3. Copy the APK file over to the root of your SD card.
4. Once the file’s copied, unplug your device from your PC.
5. Open the File Manager app on your device and install the APK you just copied.
6. Once installed, launch it from your App Drawer.
7. Tap on UnRoot button in the app and it’ll start unrooting your device.
8. Once it’s done, you should be unrooted!
Great! Your device has been successfully unrooted and your warranty has also been restored. Root-only apps that you’ve installed on your device won’t work any longer so better you get rid of them by uninstalling them, see our guide on the same to do so.
