How to Unroot the Motorola Charm
Motorola Charm can be unrooted using the Androot method and the procedure to do so is quite simple. By unrooting your device, you’re gonna get the lost warranty back so you can present your device at the service center without any hesitation. Just follow the following guide and you should have unrooted your device at the end. Here you go:
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, then the following procedure may or may not work for you.
2. Your device should have at least 50% of battery life left.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. Universal Androot APK (It’s attached in the first post)
III. Unrooting the Motorola Charm:
1. Place the Androot APK file on the Desktop of your PC.
2. Connect your device to your PC via USB cable.
3. Copy the Androot APK file over to the root of your SD card.
4. Once copied, disconnect your device from your PC.
5. Turn ON the Unknown sources option on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Unknown sources.
6. Open the File Manager app on your device and install the APK you copied earlier.
7. Launch the Androot app on your device from your App Drawer.
8. Hit Unroot button in the app and it should begin unrooting your device.
9. Once your device’s been unrooted, reboot it.
10. You’re all set!
Awesome! You’ve successfully unrooted your Motorola Charm and from now on, you won’t be able to install any root-only apps on your device.
