How to Unroot the Oppo Find 7a (Video)
Maybe you messed something up, maybe you just want to start from scratch or maybe you need to send your Oppo Find 7a in for warranty? Regardless of the reasoning, unrooting the Find 7a is your solution. When we refer to unrooting generally, we aren’t just talking about removing root access –we’re talking about bringing the device completely back to the way it was when it arrived in the sexy black box it comes in. So with that being said, in this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to get the device from running a custom ROM with a custom recovery image to the latest version of ColorOS with the stock Oppo recovery.
Here goes…
I. Before You Begin
1. This will erase the device so please backup anything you don’t want to lose.
II. Flash the Stock Recovery
1. Turn off the phone.
2. Turn it back on by holding down volume up and power until you get into fastboot mode.
3. Plug the device in via USB to the computer.
4. Download the Recovery Installer for the Find 7 from the developer and save it to your desktop:
5. Double click the Recovery Installer exe file to run it.
6. Type the number of the option to install the latest stock recovery and hit enter.
III. Flash the Stock ColorOS on the Find 7a
1. Download the stock firmware for the Find 7a and save it to your Desktop.
Stock ColorOS (Version 1.2.5i)
2. Copy the .zip file to the root of your device’s storage (not inside any other folders, just on the internal storage itself. Do not extract it, leave it as a .zip).
3. Unplug the device.
4. Turn off the phone.
5. Turn it back on by holding down Volume Down and Power until the Oppo logo appears, then let go.
6. Using the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select the option you want, select Wipe Data and Cache.
7. Select Install zip and select the ColorOS file.
And there you go, all back to stock.

thx
If you went back to stock and still having battery issues. You need to contact Opportunity for warranty issues like normal has nothing to do with this if you’re on the stock ROM and it’s still happening. Just make sure to relock the bootloader so it doesn’t show it was tampered with before you send it back in.
Thank You
So just Fastboot OEM Lock ?
Correct after doing this entire tutorial to get back to stock of course.
it doesnt works just says “…” after typing this 🙁
Post a screenshot in a comment so I can help
recovery file does not exist.
You need to reach out to the developer on that page and let them know so they can replace it.
Thank you david 🙂
