How to Unroot the Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro (SGH-I547)

Have an issue with your device and want to return it to service center? Make sure that you unroot your device first and only then bring it to the service center. Unrooting will reinstate your warranty and get your device back to stock firmware. Here’s how you can unroot your Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro (SGH-I547).

I. Before You Begin:

1. You should have rooted your device using the procedure given here.

2. Your device should have at least 70% of battery life left to ensure a smoother process.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Stock Firmware (Download appropriate firmware from the fifth post)

2. Odin

III. Unrooting the Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro (SGH-I547):

1. Download and place both the files onto your Desktop.

2. Extract files from the Odin archive over to your Desktop.

3. Run Odin by double-clicking on its executable file you just extracted to your Desktop.

4. In the Odin, click on PDA and select the Stock Firmware file you have downloaded to your Desktop.

5. Make sure that only Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options are checked in the tool.

6. Leave the Repartition box unchecked, it’s important.

7. Turn OFF your device.

8. Reboot your device into Download mode. To do so, hold down the Volume DOWN+Home+Power buttons together.

9. Press the Volume UP button to continue to Download mode.

10. Plug your device in to your PC via USB cable.

11. Click Start in the Odin and it’ll begin flashing the firmware.

12. Once the firmware’s been flashed, your device will automatically reboot.

13. You’re all done!

Excellent! Your Galaxy Rugby Pro has been successfully unrooted and is back to stock now.
