How to Unroot the Sony Tablet P
There’re several reasons you might want to unroot your device. Maybe you just don’t need root-access anymore or maybe you’re selling your device, either way, you’ll want to unroot your device to reclaim its warranty. And devices with a valid warranty go for a higher price if you want to make some big bucks out of your device. Regardless of the reason, let’s see how you can unroot your Sony Tablet P:
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, this procedure might not work for you.
2. This procedure works on Windows based PCs only.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. AIO Tool (It’s attached in the first post)
III. Unrooting the Sony Tablet P:
1. Place the AIO Tool archive onto your Desktop.
2. Unzip files from the archive over to your Desktop.
3. Turn ON the USB debugging option on your device by simply heading to Menu>>Settings>>Developer options>>USB debugging.
4. Plug in your device to your PC via USB cable.
5. Double-click on S.onyTablet.S.bat available on your Desktop.
6. Choose the second option that says Unroot device.
7. It’ll start unrooting your device.
8. Once it’s done, reboot your device.
9. You’re all done!
Awesome! Your Tablet P has been unrooted and is in warranty period once again!
