HTC Extends $100 Trade-Up Incentive, Hopes You’ll Buy the HTC One
With all the hype surrounded HTC’s flagship, the HTC One, it was a buzz kill when the company hit supplier issues and couldn’t get the smartphone on store shelves. HTC is hoping to smooth over consumer’s disappointment by extending its $100 trade-in program, providing you with more time to trade in your old phone for $100 when you buy the One.
The previous cut-off date for buying the One was April 26th, but now you have until May 19th. Once you have your new phone, simply register it with HTC and send in your old device. For those of you with newer phones HTC may even give you more than the $100 minimum value. HTC will send you a $100 pre-paid Visa card, or the value of your old phone (whichever is greater). Don’t forget to complete the deal by June 19th, as HTC assures us that the promo will not be extended again.
