HTC Touch HD2 Getting Picked Up by A US Carrier in Early 2010

HTC Leo

HTC has announced the a “US Carrier” is picking up the Touch HD2 (Leo) in early 2010. In the meantime, you could always buy the European Version and just not have 3G.. as with any GSM phone.

Sadly I can already assume that by the time the HD2 “comes to the States” there will be a new, better HTC phone to drool over.

Why can’t they just put Pentaband 3G in all of their phones and let us by them directly??

    1. Hello Roman,

Doubtful actually. Since they just picked up the Imagio or whatever. Which is a dummied down version of the HD2. Wouldn’t make sense to do that and then get the HD2 (would make the Imagio obsolete right after releasing it).
Might be any of the other carriers though…

  2. Imagio = Touch Diamond2 >>> not a “dummied down version of the HD2.” It is a DELIBERATE, half-a** product from HTC that was developed BEFORE the Leo/HD2. It is definitely inferior to the HD2, though. Kudos to HTC for finally putting appropriate hardware in the HD2 to actually make it less stressful to use a resource hogging mobile OS like Windows Phone.
