HTC Wildfire headed Stateside in the next two months
Although not in the same league as the HTC Desire in terms of processing power or screen size, the Wildfire is still a great phone if all you need is a good Android handset that won’t burn a huge hole in your pocket. HTC has now revealed that the handset will be coming the USA in the fourth quarter of 2010, which only means a release somewhere within the next two months. The Wildfire is already available in Europe and Asia and packs a 5mpx camera, a 3.2-inch multitouch display, optical trackpad and runs Android 2.1 operating system (with SenseUI on top) accompanied by the usual array of apps, features and connectivity options that come with the OS.
HTC has not yet disclosed what carriers will be playing host to the device or a price range when it arrives but according the press release, it will be not be tied down to a specific carrier upon its release in Q4 2010.
