Huawei Quietly Introduces The MediaPad 7 Lite
We’ve been keeping our eyes on Huawei’s latest tablet portfolio, and it appears that they have finally unveiled their newest tablet today: the MediaPad 7 Lite. As expected, this specific Huawei tablet rocks a 7-inch (1280 x 800) display, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 3G cellular voice, SMS, MMS, and WiFi compatibility. Additional spec highlights include a 5 megapixel camera, 1080p video recording capabilities, 8GB of internal storage, and up to 200 hours of maximum battery life.
While Huawei generously shared press images of the device, we are still left in the dark surrounding exact launch details. As it appears that Huawei is trying to break into the tablet market, it will be interesting to see how another 7 inch slab does compared to the likes of the wildly successful Nexus 7.
