How to Flash a Custom Recovery on the ZTE V967S
With its quad-core 1.2GHz CPU and a gig of RAM, the ZTE V967S is a pretty affordable device if you are in the market for a device that’s fast yet cheap enough. What could make this device a bit more productive is rooting it and installing a custom recovery (ClockworkMod Recovery in this case). The guide below should help you install a custom recovery (ClockworkMod Recovery in this case) and in another post, you should be able to root your ZTE V967S with ease!
I. Before You Begin
1. Make sure that you have the necessary drivers installed before you start. Use these and these if you haven’t already done so.
2. Charge your device to 75% or more before you begin to prevent unwanted shutdowns during the procedure.

III. Installing Custom Recovery on the ZTE V967S
1. Connect your device to your PC and copy recovery-cwm-6044.img to your device’s SD card (do not put it into any subfolders, just copy and paste it into the main folder). Also, make sure there are no other .img files in this location and if there are any, delete them.
2. Open up the newly installed Mobileuncle MTK Tools app from your app drawer.
3. Tap on Recovery and you should be provided with a list of .img files on your SD card.
4. Tap on recovery-cwm-6044.img to begin the flashing process.
5. Once flashed, reboot your device.
You now have a working ClockworkMod Recovery on your ZTE V967S!
