Intel Atom-based MeeGo tablet and phone espied in Moscow
Both a tablet and a phone sporting Linux-based MeeGo operating system have been spotted at an Intel press event in Moscow and mail.ru‘s Anton Spiridonov has a few pictures to prove it. The phone, christened the Hi/Lo Vibrant, will be powered by Intel’s Atom processor running at an unspecificed clockspeed and also boasts of a 5-megapixel shooter on its behind. Not much to go on there, but compared to what we have on the tablet, that is really something. There’s no info on the company that has been entrusted with the manufacturing nor are there any telltale signs of other specs from the pictures.
We are guessing Intel will reveal all come this CES and if that’s a miss, count on the Mobile World Congress to reveal some solid facts about the devices and the Intel/Nokia OS.
