Large and In Charge 5.9-Inch HTC One Max (T6) Press Render Leaked
Just when you thought 5.5-inch sized smartphones were pushing the envelope, HTC apparently has other plans for our comfort zones. Say hello to HTC’s latest the T6. We got our first taste of the T6 just last week when word got out that HTC was working on a 5.9-inch beast of a smartphone, otherwise known as the HTC One Max. Now, thanks to the always reliable @Evleaks, we can feast our eyes on a very official looking press rendering.
The phone appears to be a gigantic HTC One. Exact specifications are still hazy at best, but prior leaks have HTC working on two models: one with a standard configuration and one with a semi-detachable backplate and a dual-SIM design. The same source cites a 2.3Ghz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 3300mAh battery. Similar to the HTC One we all are accustomed to the T6/Max is expected to sport a 1080p resolution, an “ultra pixel” camera, and HTC’s signature “Boom Sound” speakers.
HTC is still remaining extremely quiet on this device and we could still some design changes before it’s ready for an official unveiling. IFA in Berlin is scheduled for September and we do know that Samsung is expected to release their next generation Galaxy Note III. IFA seems to be the logical place for HTC to show the world their big faced 5.9 incher.
We’re sure to see more details surface in the coming weeks and we’ll be here to keep you in the know. What do you think about a 5.9-inch sized smartphone? Too big or is this something you could see yourself stretching out your pockets for? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
