Leaked Image of the Motorola Xoom 2 Tablet Spotted in the Wild
After the Motorola Xoom 2 was spotted in the wild by Droid-Life, it appears it leaves a lot left to be desired still. From the leaked image, the predecessor still looks like the original Xoom tablet without any significant design changes. The only difference we could spy were the cut-off corners and a revamped “HD” camera layout. The model, codenamed MZ617, hasn’t gotten any lighter and is still as heavy as the original Xoom.
The visible SIM slot alludes to a LTE enabled tablet or at least HSPA for non-Verizon carriers. Additional details still remain unclear as Motorola isn’t expected to release the Xoom 2 until early 2012. If that proves to be true, let’s just hope the Xoom 2 packs some Android Ice Cream Sandwich goodies for the masses.
