LG Enlighten, a mid-range Android phone for Verizon announced

Starting today, the Big Red’s subscribers will have yet another Android option to choose from, the LG Enlighten.  The device is available starting today on VZW Online Store, but those who are accustomed a brick-and-mortar store transaction can get it starting September 29th.  The Enlighten seems to be all about affordability, hence the lowish specs as below:

  • 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display
  • 800MHz processor
  • Android 2.3 operating system
  • 3.2MP camera
  • WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth
  • MicroSD support (2GB card bundled)

This LG device is available now for $79.99 after a mail-in rebate of $50 and if you like it, the Verizon store is just a click away.

  1. I acquired one today, in near mint condition. How may/can I perform a carrier unlock on it?
I am 100% familiar with iPhone unlocking, jailbreaking and hacking.
