LG Optimus 3D with T-Mobile 3G FCC’ed

Along with the G-Slate and the G2x, T-Mobile might play home to yet another LG device – the P920, more widely known as the Optimus 3D.  The device has recently graduated from the FCC and as revealed by the documents accompanying the approval, sports support for T-Mobile’s AWS (1700MHz) frequency.

As for the question of whether this will really become available on T-Mobile any time soon, we’ll just have to wait and see.  AT&T already has the Optimus 3D (known as the Thrill 4G) on its books for a launch and with T-Mobile getting ready to be gobbled up by the big blue-white globe, it just wouldn’t make sense to have two variants of the same device on the same network, except may be in the short term before the deal is complete.

Nonetheless, this would be a great device to have with its 4.3-inch WVGA glass-less 3D display, HDMI, and a dual-core processor with dual-channel dual memory, running Android 2.2 Froyo operating system.  The Optimus 3D also comes dual cameras for 3D video/image capture.  Seems like this device is all about “dual,” innit? Be sure to check out the quirky video above by LG giving its reason for the dual mania.
