LG Optimus Elite for Sprint and Virgin Mobile Smiles for the Camera
According to PocketNow, the Optimus Elite is headed straight for Sprint and Virgin Mobile in the very near future. The Elite is expected to hit the Now Network sometime in April while Virgin Mobile subscribers might have to wait until May to get their hands on it.
The Elite will sport mid-range specs including a 3.5-inch HVGA display, a five-megapixel rear facing camera, and an 800Mhz CPU. The only spec that stands out for the handset will be its near field communication (NFC) abilities. Both variants look exactly the same, except Virgin subscribers will be presented with the black model versus Sprint’s bleached out look in white.
Pricing has yet to be announced, but with those specs we doubt consumers on either carrier will break the bank for this particular purchase.
