LG Optimus L3, L5 and L7 Android devices unveiled
In a bid to capture three different segments of the market – high end, mid range and low end – LG has announced three new devices in its new L-Style lineup, the Optimus L3, L5 and L7. These will be put on the stand at the MWC later this month with the Optimus L7 being the stronger of the three with the other two leaning more towards offering budget friendly and moderately featured Android smartphones.
Speaking of specs, the Optimus L3 will be an affordable Gingerbread device that brings in a 3.2-inch touchscreen display and a 3MP camera. The L5, which makes things a bit more interesting, will feature a 4-inch display and surprisingly, Ice-Cream Sandwich OS out of the box. Finally, the Optimus L7 is obviously going to be a flagship device with its 4.3-inch display and Android 4.0, but nothing is known of its processing power, although LG is bound to put in a dual-core CPU if it plans to remain relevant in the current Android climate.
The above features seem like snippets of what all three Optimus smartphones have to offer, but we should get the full details when the devices make their appearance at the Mobile World Congress 2012, set to begin on February 27th.
