LG Plans to Introduce New Device May 30th, Quite Possibly the LG Optimus G2
LG has done well with the release of the ever popular Optimus G. So, it comes as no surprise that the Android OEM would want to take full advantage of its success and release a successor of some sort. It looks like we won’t have long to find out what the company has up their sleeve, as they recently sent out an invitation to a press event scheduled for May 30th in Macau, China.
The tagline on the invitation reads “ImaGination Begins,” so we’re obviously going to see a device that will join the G family lineup. The G Pro just started its global release so it may still be early for the Optimus G2. However, it would make sense that a new G2 is in the works to replace last year’s flagship. With May 30th not to far away, we’ll just have to sit tight and see what comes next.
