LG To Host Mobile Event In NYC August 7th, Possible New Optimus G?
It’s that time again as LG has sent out a new save the date invitation for a mobile event slated for August 7 in New York City. LG has decided to coin this press gathering an “international media event,” which gives it a larger feel than just your average U.S. announcement. As always, the invite was rather vague and lacked any juicy details but that can’t stop us from guessing what will be revealed.
LG has already confirmed that their next Optimus G series of smartphones will rock Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 chipset. Could that be what we’ll see come August 7th? It sure seems coincidental that both the announcement and save the date memo was sent out at the same time.
