Mid-range HTC Bliss to be released on September 29 for Verizon
With women as its target demographic, HTC is planning to release an Android phone for Verizon on 29th September. And since it is aimed at a market segment where looks play a major role, the company will be releasing the handset in three different colors, although it is not known yet what hues these are exactly (the above picture is only a concept design to give us an idea of what the device might look like).
For features, the Bliss comes off as a ho-hum device, even with the few specs that have been unearthed. The phone will feature an 800MHz processor, which seems even lower than the current crop of 1GHz droids that make up a large part of the middlefield of Android devices, accompanied by an unknown quantity of RAM to back the CPU. The Bliss will come with Android 2.3.5 installed, so it’s got the OS part up to the mark at least. Also making an appearance is the hitherto unheard of HTC Sense 3.5, which seems a bit unbelievable, with Sense 3.0 still gaining ground on the company’s other devices.
That’s all we have for now on the Bliss, but with a release date less than a month away, be sure that we’ll get you more on it before it is out.
