Moto X Variant With T-Mobile Compatible Bands Strolls Through The FCC For Approval
While we know quite a bit about the unreleased Moto X, we are still unsure which US carriers will pick up this beast of a device. Recent FCC filings have suggested that AT&T, Verizon and Sprint will most likely carry the Moto X, but no word on where T-Mobile sits on this one.
A new FCC filing reveals that a Moto X variant, otherwise known as the XT1053 has strolled through the FCC showing off T-Mobile bands: AWS HSPA+ and LTE (along with bands 2 and 17, which could mean this variant is compatible with AT&T also). It looks like 802.11ac will also show up to the party. If trolling through FCC docs on a Friday night sounds up your alley then peruse to your heart’s content here.
