Motorola Atrix 4G gets Android 2.3 update
For Motorola Atrix 4G users, this will be the sweetest 161MB download yet. Motorola has finally released the Gingerbread 2.3 update for this powerful AT&T device – the release notes don’t specify whether the update is 2.3.3 or 2.3.4 but if it is the latter, Atrix 4G users should be able to video-chat with theirs friends on GTalk. The update will bring the version number up to 4.5.91 from the previous 4.1.83 and in addition to the usual goodies that Gingerbread brings, Motorola has included a few more improvements to the overall Atrix 4G experience:
- Freedom to sideload apps
- Improved Gallery and Music Player Interface
- Faster browsing
- 1080p HD video playback
- MotoBLUR much more user friendly
