Motorola Triumph for Virgin Mobile on preorder from Best Buy for $299.99
It may not take the cake pitted against the faster dual-core smartphones available now, but its 1GHz Scorpion processor should be no sloucher either. The device also features an Adreno 205 GPU and 512MB to run sweet, succulent stock Android with no manufacturer/operator meddling whatsoever. That’s right, the Moto Triumph will not feature MotoBLUR, which seems like a very good decision on the company’s part.
Other features include a 5MP camera, 2GB of onboard storage, (mini?) HDMI port, and the usual array of connectivity options. There’s no fancy 4G support here but the device will be able to cruise 3G speeds of up to 3.1Mbps, which is still a lot.
Impressed much? If so, head over to Best Buy who are currently offering the device for a penny less than $300 on preorder – a pretty good deal considering the device will come unlocked. As to when the device will actually start shipping, if preordered, you could expect it at your doorstep somewhere between July 19 and July 26.
