New Facebook App For Android Coming Soon: Enhanced UI, New Functionality, and Faster
Facebook has finally confirmed that Android users will see an update to their beloved mobile application. Loyal users can look forward to an entire new user interface, a revamped way to “tag” photos, and updates to the photo editing options. Navigation will now take place through an option bar along the left side of the screen which leaves more screen room for you to stalk your friend’s status updates.
Additionally, the Facebook dev team claims that the new Android app will not only look better, but will be faster too. We’re happy to hear this, as there’s nothing more frustrating than a slow Facebook experience.
The new Facebook app for Android is expected to hit the Android Market “soon”, so let’s keep our fingers crossed that we’ll see the updated app released before the day is officially over.
