New Phone: Dell Aero, Runs Android

Today, Dell officially announced their first US smartphone; the Dell Aero. While very few specs were released, what we do know is:

Operating System: Runs Android (which version? Doesn’t say, but I’d be willing to bet its NOT Android 2.1 because of the custom UI and how long it probably took them to design it)
Camera: 5.0MP
Screen: 3.5″ Capacitive Screen (resolution rumored at 360 x 640)
Connectivity: WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS (a given nowadays, no?)
Other: Flash Lite included
User Inteface: Custom User Interface design by Dell and AT&T collectively

This would be AT&T’s second Android phone. It would seem even though AT&T has been holding out on Android, they had to give in to offering Android at some point…

Anyone thinking about getting it yet, even before more specs are released?
Any AT&T employees that feel the need to accidentally email us some more specs, feel free to accidentally do so using the Contact Us section of our site 🙂

Here is the AT&T promotional page if you want to take a look.
