Nokia Android Device?
So take this one with a grain of salt as there is no way to confirm the picture isn’t just some third party developer with a lot of time that was able to port Android onto his Nokia. Then again though, Engadget, who broke the story is swearing that it’s a reliable source so, who knows.
According to Engadget, the source for this photo is the same as the source for the leaked Windows Phone device back in May so that lends some credibility to it (maybe this fellow just has the inside scoop on testing units?). Either way, there isn’t any details besides these pictures so here they are:
What do you guys think? Is this left over from when Nokia was “thinking about going with Android” and it’ll never see production? Or is Nokia still considering doing Android devices?
I have to say, if I was Nokia, known for making awesome hardware, I’d be trying to sell that hardware to as many different demographics as possible. If that means doing Windows Phone, Meego, and Android devices and letting consumers choose for themselves, then, by gone, I’d do it.
