Odin Mobile and Huawei Team Up to Launch Smartphone for the Visually Impaired, Coming This July
Odin Mobile is a new carrier that is aiming to be the first in the US to target the visually impaired market. The carrier plans to offer a device portfolio that provides a variety of mobile accessibility features for those who have limited vision, in addition to offering the type of customer service which is customized with the visually impaired consumer in mind.
So how does Odin Mobile plan to achieve this? Well, they will provide guides for customers in Word and HTML formats via e-mail, and its support team will be highly trained to know about the numerous accessibility options which are available in smartphones. In addition, Odin Mobile plans to donate 2% of its voice and text revenues to organizations which offer assistance to the visually impaired.
