Possible LG Optimus L9 II Strolls Quietly Through the FCC
We first caught wind of a possible follow up to the LG Optimus L9 back in June when @evleaks leaked out a few images. However, this device has managed to keep a low profile, up until today that is. We do know that the device is being coined the Optimus L9 II — or just L9 II, and may have taken a quiet stroll through the FCC process.
A device going under codename LG-D605 received its certification today and that is the same model number that has been connected to the L9 before. The FCC documents didn’t give up much but we did see FeliCa NFC technology which translates into a Japanese market release launch. Additional details include the existence of a removable battery and no LTE bands were tested for this specific model.
