Qualcomm Ships Out Their Dual Core 1.2Ghz Processors to Manufacturers Today

So according to BGR, Qualcomm announced they are shipping their latest line of snapdragon processors to their hardware clients; the Snapdragon MSM8360 and MSM8660 Here’s the details of what these babies can do:

1.2Ghz Processing Speed
2D/3D Hardware Acceleration, Open GL ES 2.0, and OpenVG 1.1 Acceleration
1080P Encoding and Decoding (so able to record 1080P and playback 1080P)
Integrated GPS
24 bit WXGA Displays (Meaning 16 million colors, and approximately 1280 x 800 pixels)
Only difference between the two different chipsets is that the MSM8360 has support for HSPA+ while the MSM8660 has support for HSPA+ and EV-DO Rev B.

Not too shabby, no?
Qualcomm won’t disclose which manufacturer’s they sent the chips to, but I can take one guess at a manufacturer fond of Snapdragon processors. HTC, possibly?

Any developers/users excited to see what a phone with this kind of power could do (oh and with HSPA+ support as well)?
