ROM Alert: Final official build of Android 4.0 for the European Samsung Galaxy S II leaked, already rooted
March 15th is not that far off for anxious Galaxy S II owners, but European users of this popular device can jump the gun and get the much-awaited ICS update already, courtesy of Faryaab on XDA. The XDA member in question has pulled the update for others to flash and what’s more, posted a root solution to get things going already on the development front.
To get the update, all users will have to do is:
- Extract the firmware
- Open the included Odin
- Put your device into Download MODE (Home + Volume Down + Power)
- Click PDA and select *.tar.md5
- Then finally click START!
