How to Root the Xolo Q700 Android Smartphone
The Xolo Q700 is designed to pack a punch with a quad-core 1.7GHz quad-core processor, a 5MP camera, a 4.5 inch display and FM radio, running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean firmware. Rooting it will give you much more power over this already great device, and you can overclock/underclock, change colors, icons, etc., and much more. We will show you how to do that in the guide below.
I. Before You Begin
1. Charge your device to 75% or more before you begin to prevent unwanted shutdowns.
2. Back up everything you feel is important before you start.
3. Make sure you have the necessary drivers installed before you begin. If not, install the PdaNet drivers provided in the next section.
II. Necessary Downloads
1. motochopper.zip [Link available in this post]
2. PdaNetA4126.zip [File attached to this post]
III. Rooting the Xolo Q700
1. Enable USB Debugging on your device by going to Settings > Development and ticking the USB debugging checkbox.
2. Connect your device to your PC. If there are drivers being installed at this point, let them do so.
3. Extract motochopper.zip to a folder on your desktop.
4. From the extracted folder, double-click on run.bat to begin the rooting process.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
6. When you are prompted to accept USB Debugging connection on your device, tap on OK.
Once the Titanium S5 reboots, it should be completely rooted!
