Samsung and AT&T Confirm Jelly Bean Update Now Available For Galaxy S3 Through Kies
AT&T and Samsung have finally confirmed that the Jelly Bean (Android 4.1.1) update is now available for the Galaxy S3. According to Samsung the update is available via Kies, so don’t expect to see an over-the-air update. Updating through Kies is fairly simply and it’s compatible with both Mac and Windows machines.
It appears Verizon is the last big US carrier to update their Galaxy S3 to Jelly Bean, but rumors have Big Red pushing the update out sometime in mid-December. In the meantime, AT&T Galaxy S3 users can obtain more information on the Jelly Bean update here.
