Samsung Announces the Galaxy Tab 3: WiFi Model Coming in May, 3G Version Following in June
For anyone who wasn’t thrilled with Samsung’s 8-inch Galaxy Tab, then maybe you’ll spring for their smaller 7-inch model that was officially unveiled today. The Galaxy Tab 3 is the third version of Sammy’s first Android powered tablet and comes equipped with a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 8GB or 16GB of storage (with expansion up to 64GB), and a 4,000mAh battery. The device sports a low resolution 7-inch WSVGA (1,024 x 600) TFT display with Android 4.1 under the hood.
Interested consumers can look for the WiFi version to roll out globally in May, while the 3G version will launch sometime in June. Exact pricing has yet to be announced.
