Samsung Galaxy S II now available on preorder, to ship in March
With a dual-core processor, 1GB RAM and a 4.3-inch sAMOLED display, the Samsung Galaxy S II will definitely be a sought-after device this season and if you want to get in on the action before the rush begins, Clove.co.uk has an offer for you. The online retailer has started taking orders for this unlocked Android smartphone with a likely shipping date somewhere in March. As for the price, the current tag reads £612 for the 16GB version while the 32GB version can be booked for £708 (tax included on both versions).
The Galaxy S II features a dual-core 1GHz processor, 1GB memory and an 8MP camera (with a secondary 2MP lens on the front) with HD recording. The phone will be running TouchWiz-skinned Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and will include NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G/HSPA data transfer support, although the deal could have been that much more sweeter if the phone were to support 4G networks. It will come with either 16GB or 32GB of onboard memory for data storage.
According to Clove.co.uk, customers won’t be charged on their credit cards until the device is ready to ship as the prices could change in the future, but for now, they say the currently listed should be considered correct and with the 16GB version price having gone up once already, this is a pretty smart move by the retailer.
