Samsung Galaxy S4 Gets Update For More Storage Space
After it was uncovered that Samsung’s pre-loaded applications on the new Galaxy S4 were hogging up nearly half of the storage space in the 16GB model the manufacturer immediately started working on a solution. Needless to say, consumers are not too happy that their brand new device only has 9.15GB of free storage right out of the box.
Thankfully Samsung has started to roll out an update that will bump the current available storage to 9.23GB. Not much of a difference but now users will also be able to move app’s onto the device’s microSD card.
The update also brings with it improvements to the Galaxy S4 camera’s firmware, which now supports HDR video recording, as well as offering a semi-transparent status bar, increased legibility, several bug fixes and more.
The update is 1.5 GB in size and if anyone wants to flash it, then download it here https://xq55.box.com/shared/static/akt1ow1ig71w955nuyka.7z
