Samsung Galaxy S4 LTD tipped for Verizon: Kid Robot, KAWS, others tie up for exclusive limited editions

Forget just a new paint job: Verizon Wireless is going all in for its next attempt to differentiate its version of the world’s best-selling Android handset. Rather than just a single option like its upcoming Autumn Brown, the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTD will allegedly offer multiple configurations over a range of branding partners — namely, toy maker Kid Robot, urban apparel designers Undefeated, toy and clothing designer KAWS, and art supply house KRINK.

Besides the different hardware looks, Verizon customers will also supposedly get to configure the software look of the phone somewhat, at least in terms of a downloadable wallpaper configurator. The device, possibly getting its own SKU, will have a dedicated website for building and ordering. No timetable on the promotional LTD edition was immediately available.
