Samsung Galaxy Tab sales touch 1 million, next stop 1.5 million
It happened with the Galaxy S (5 million!), and as we thought it would, the Galaxy Tab has reached its big milestone, the first million. The Android tablet sold a huge 600,000 units within 30 days of its release. And now barely two months after it made its appearance, Samsung has now come out with the news and, needless to say, with trumpets blaring.
Considering it is available on all the major US mobile carriers and most of the known world already, this seems but a stepping stone to far better sales numbers, we say. And with the holiday rush already begun, Samsung should definitely reach its next self-appointed landmark, 1.5 million happy Tabbers.
