Samsung Hercules For T-Mobile Confirmed As Galaxy S II Variant
A leaked image obtained by TmoNews of confirms the pictured device will be making its way over to T-Mobile. So which unannounced handset is this exactly? According to TmoNews, what you are seeing in the picture is actually the back of the Samsung Hercules — which all but solidifies the speculation that the Hercules handset is in fact T-Mobile’s Galazy S II variant. It’s similar to the original smartphone, but it rocks a slightly larger 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen much like the Infuse 4G, a dual-core Qualcomm 1.2GHz processor, and a 42Mbps HSPA+ radio.
Additionally, the device’s design appears to have the same rounded edges on the back cover like the Within and an over all likeness to the Nexus S. The leaked frontal images from Pocketnow only support that the Hercules is a mash up of some of Samsung’s best handsets and we can’t wait to see more of it.
