Samsung Introduces the 4.3-inch Galaxy S 4 Mini
After rumors ran rampant this week, Samsung decided to lay the speculation to rest and officially announce the Galaxy S 4 Mini. Yes, you guessed right, the Galaxy S 4 Mini is basically a smaller version of the company’s latest flagship device–the Galaxy S 4.
As expected, the mini sports a smaller 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display and runs a 1.7-GHz dual-core processor with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Additional spec highlights include an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.9-megapixel one on the front, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be expanded to 64GB with a micro SD.
features coming to the S 4 mini include perks like Sound & Shot, which stores sound and voice together as photos are taken, as well as Panorama Shot for wide-angle photos. Users can also take advantage of the S Travel app, which comes pre-loaded on the phone and will help you with recommendations on-the-run, while the S Translator feature ensures that you will be able to communicate your way around a foreign place.
The Mini will be available in white frost and black mist, and comes in 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, or 3G dual SIM versions, depending on where you live. Samsung has yet to confirm where and when the S 4 Mini will be launched, but we’re sure to see those details emerge in the coming weeks.
