Samsung to release two more Galaxy phones for the German market
Of the two, the Galaxy Ace S5830 seems slightly better with a 3.5 inch HVGA display, WiFi, 5MP autofocus camera, 800MHz processor, GPS, Stereo FM and 32GB expansion (with Android 2.2 Froyo) but with a higher suggested price tag of €399. The Ace S5830 will also come preloaded with exclusive content from Progress Live 2011 tour of the band, Take That.
The Galaxy Mini S5570 on the other hand stays true to its name and sees a few cutdowns in its features. The Mini S5570 features the same Android 2.2 operating system but a smaller 3.15 inch QVGA display, WiFi, GPS, and a 3.15MP camera. Suggested price for the device is €299, which does seem justified in terms of what it brings to the table.
Both the phones will be available in Germany starting this month and while there is no hint on whether one or both the phones will be upgradeable to Android 2.3, we’ll just have to wait and see if Sammy is benevolent enough to do just that in the future.
